The last month seems like it has lasted forever. The boys had a great Christmas and got everything they had asked for. We finally got all of the decorations put away. Also, Grayson FINALLY got his first haircut. I think he was working on the world's longest comb-over! I cried like an idiot the whole time the lady was cutting it off. I'm very emotional when it comes to those things.
Since I am sure it's only family that reads this blog, I probably don't have to mention what is going on with my Grandpa's health. It is a very difficult time for all of us right now. My original intention for blogging was to have something to look back on one day to help me remember. Maybe one of these days I'll be ready to blog about what's going on with Grandpa, but today isn't the day.
For the time being, I am working nights until we can figure out what we're going to do with Grayson during the day. I think we've found a new daycare for him and Jackson and they will probably start in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, there's no harm in spending time with them during the day while Eric is working and saving money at the same time since they're not currently enrolled in daycare. We're in the process of overhauling the way we handle our budget anyhow. I've become inspired to give us a money makeover this year! We're going to spend less, save more, and start investing. There's no time like the present, right? Happy New Year everyone!
